It’s January, Christmas is over, the weather is cold. If you’re like me then you’ll be dreaming of sun, sea and sand. Desperate for a relaxing holiday, and so this would be the perfect time to book your getaway and to start the countdown. So to get you in the mood for holiday planning, I wanted to share with you some of my holiday essentials.
Another beautiful piece of clothing from Violet & Wren, the delicate and feminine Orla shorts. Once again, they have created a stylish but ridiculously comfortable piece. Paired with a soft cream top and structured blazer, to keep the outfit looking subtle. I absolutely love the Orla shorts, they’re perfect for a summer’s day.
What’s the best thing to do when you’ve just been paid? Go to a sample sale! And a Reiss one at that! That’s exactly what I did last month, and I bagged myself these AMAZING Reiss trousers for less than a third of the normal retail price. One thing I will say though, it does take some patience and commitment at those things, people everywhere, clothes everywhere…but if you stick it out you can honestly find some absolute gems for such crazy prices. I picked up a couple of other bits while I was there too, which I’m sure you’ll
Hey, do you remember when I went on holiday last June and Thomson Airways lost both mine and my friends suitcases? What a nightmare that was and how unhelpful Thomson were! But you’ll never guess what, after 9 months of my suitcase being missing, they only went and blooming found mine! Literally couldn’t believe it, my dreams came true finally getting it back. Which leads me onto this outfit post, the top and trousers were inside my suitcase, the trousers still had the tag on as they were literally brand new at the time. I was so looking forward to
Well hello there, you lovely people. It’s official, I’m back, and here is the first style post since my absence. It’s Saturday and it’s still a bit grey in London (summer needs to hurry the hell up), so of course my outfit was pretty much all black, standard. I chose to go with simplicity today, styling a few key pieces and not over-doing it by combining block colours. My jewellery today was made up of delicate gold pieces, including my favourite necklace from Edge o’ Beyond. If you’ve seen my previous post or Instagram, you’ll notice that this necklace is
Right now it’s getting dark outside, the air is bitterly cold and the sky is grey. When it’s like this I can’t help but dream of summer again, my favourite season. So whilst I’m imagining the sun shining, its warmth on my skin and a gentle sea breeze, I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you the last collection of photo’s from my shoot with Hannah May; from back in September.
Not much can beat chunky knitwear right now, and I especially love this jumper from Zara, infact I’m wearing it right now. But while it may not be the best weather to be wearing shorts now, it was definitely one of my favourite styles back in early Autumn. Knitwear doesn’t have to mean looking frumpy, there are so many ways to style the look. I chose to pair it with these perfect Zara cut out boots, to make the look a bit sharper and chicer.
What’s a better accessory in winter than a hat? A big floppy woollen hat, a fedora, beanies…you name it, they’ve got it! I’ve recently invested in a new fedora, and they may be on the masculine side with their structure, but hell are they chic! Whether your outfit be a loose/relaxed look, or clean-cut and tailored, this is the kind of hat that’s perfect for tying your style together. I suppose it’s good for your keeping your head warm too, if we’re being practical.
Now that it is officially autumn, as of two days ago, it’s time to start seriously start planning the winter wardrobe. Usually I’m the first person to try and hold onto summer for as long as possible, but it’s definitely got chillier at home. The mornings have that bitter breeze, the leaves are starting to fall and the nights are definitely drawing in. But I’m looking forward to getting the boots back on, layering up, and the autumnal make-up looks that have started to appear. One of my fave Autumn pieces is the over-sized coat, for me this will never
A quick update on my missing suitcase, yeah it’s still missing! So, I was feeling sorry myself & then, as if by magic, I came across this beautiful For Love & Lemons dress…what are the chances!? Naturally I had to buy it & man, I’m glad I did. It has the cutest A-line shape, with a feminine subtle pattern…what’s not to love?
