It’s January, Christmas is over, the weather is cold. If you’re like me then you’ll be dreaming of sun, sea and sand. Desperate for a relaxing holiday, and so this would be the perfect time to book your getaway and to start the countdown. So to get you in the mood for holiday planning, I wanted to share with you some of my holiday essentials.
Right now it’s getting dark outside, the air is bitterly cold and the sky is grey. When it’s like this I can’t help but dream of summer again, my favourite season. So whilst I’m imagining the sun shining, its warmth on my skin and a gentle sea breeze, I thought it would be the perfect time to share with you the last collection of photo’s from my shoot with Hannah May; from back in September.
I’ve been wanting to post about my amazing new Triangl Swimwear for quite some time now, and so here it is! If you’ve not heard of Triangl before, you need to check them out. This is by far the most comfortable and well fitting bikini I have ever worn, not only that but the designs and styles are just perfect. Triangl also have an underwear range, and they had bras in this style which I had been waiting for them to turn into bikinis; so glad they have because I am in love with them! This is the Milly bikini
A quick update on my missing suitcase, yeah it’s still missing! So, I was feeling sorry myself & then, as if by magic, I came across this beautiful For Love & Lemons dress…what are the chances!? Naturally I had to buy it & man, I’m glad I did. It has the cutest A-line shape, with a feminine subtle pattern…what’s not to love?
I know it’s May now, and so all the bright colours should be coming out but I just can’t resist putting together a mono outfit. I love black, I love white and so what’s better than combining the two together? I just think it creates such a sharp chic look, and who can argue with that! On a little side note, I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me in the ‘Pastel Me Pretty’ competition on Stylefruits.com – I won the beautiful Marc Jacobs purse featured in this post & I couldn’t love it more! So
I’m not sure I’ve worn anything that feels more sophisticated than a jumpsuit, especially with chiffon like trousers & a cut-out back. This one I got from H&M, and it’s so comfortable without compromising on style. Of course, an outfit like this needs to be paired with a pair of strappy high heels (which is a good thing when you’re a shorty like me).
Summer is edging that little bit closer each day & that means so is my holiday. I have just over 8 weeks to go, and then I will be in beautiful Turkey sunning myself! I literally can’t wait to be by the pool, taking it all in & just chilling the hell out…so it got me thinking about shopping, holiday shopping (my favourite things combined!)
It may be January but from the comfort of my room it definitely felt like mid Summer today, with the sun beaming through the windows. It’s also probably a good thing because I need to wear sunglasses when going out right now! I do Aerial Hoop lessons on a Friday night (which is amazing by the way), but last night I may have smacked myself in the face with the hoop (oops). So I’m now sporting a lovely black eye, hence the aviators…but any reason to wear these is good enough for me!
So Sunday is nearly over, and I’m sure a lot of people are dreading the Monday blues. But lets not think about that because Sunday is still here none the less, and we may as well enjoy the last few hours. I’ve had a really lovely day, the weather has been good (despite our heatwave being over according to the weather man), I went for lunch with my boyfriend at the local garden centre & we wandered around admiring all the plants, flowers & quirky ornaments. Today I was wearing a cool white look, which consisted of 7/8 length white jeans,
