Autumn

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 14

Now that it is officially autumn, as of two days ago, it’s time to start seriously start planning the winter wardrobe. Usually I’m the first person to try and hold onto summer for as long as possible, but it’s definitely got chillier at home. The mornings have that bitter breeze, the leaves are starting to fall and the nights are definitely drawing in. But I’m looking forward to getting the boots back on, layering up, and the autumnal make-up looks that have started to appear. One of my fave Autumn pieces is the over-sized coat, for me this will never

Cropped

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 9

It’s a good job that cropped tops & trousers are a big thing this summer, because I’m all over it. Even if you don’t have trousers already cropped, just rolling up the bottom of your jeans can completely change a look. I’m loving these trousers from Zara, with leather trims on the pockets & the pastel green is such a fresh colour. By pairing them with this white top, it keeps the outfit looking simple & feminine. To create an even chicer look, just add a sharp white blazer.

Lace

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 14

It’s been the most beautiful weekend, with bright blue skies & warm sunshine. So I spent my Sunday in the little village where I grew up, having a picnic with my sister and her fiancee…we obviously ended up in a pub garden afterwards though, how very British! I wanted to wear something feminine & delicate, but something that I wouldn’t be too hot and uncomfortable in…so that’s where this lace playsuit comes in. And I think it speaks for its pretty self.

Floral Feelings

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 17

Today’s look is all about floral feelings in this pretty playsuit from soinfashion.com, it’s unbelievably comfortable & the floral pattern is just perfect for summer. I decided to pair it with my Chelsea boots & this oversized hat, my ideal kind of look for the festival season. If you’re not planning on going to any festivals this year, then this playsuit would be perfect for slipping into after a day of sunbathing at the beach.

Noir

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 17

I’m not sure I’ve worn anything that feels more sophisticated than a jumpsuit, especially with chiffon like trousers & a cut-out back. This one I got from H&M, and it’s so comfortable without compromising on style. Of course, an outfit like this needs to be paired with a pair of strappy high heels (which is a good thing when you’re a shorty like me).

Summer is edging that little bit closer each day & that means so is my holiday. I have just over 8 weeks to go, and then I will be in beautiful Turkey sunning myself! I literally can’t wait to be by the pool, taking it all in & just chilling the hell out…so it got me thinking about shopping, holiday shopping (my favourite things combined!)

Sequins

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 29

Today’s outfit is all about this statement top, I bought the top quite a few years ago from Zara but I still love it. The colours are so summery with mint green & coral, then there are the sequins & tassels which make it so special. The material is sheer chiffon, with the back left simple with no detailing which stops it from looking over the top. I’m majorly jealous of everyone that’s at Coachella this year, and this top definitely would have made an appearance with some denim shorts if I were there. But at least it was sunny

I’ve recently come across a jewellery brand called SENCE Copenhagen & after receiving a very special delivery last night, I can’t even explain how beautiful the jewellery is. I was lucky enough to choose 20 of my favourite pieces, and let me tell you, I spent ages trying to decide because I love it all! There is a range of delicate bracelets, rings, necklaces and on the other hand (literally if you like), there are chunkier statement pieces. In their new Spring/Summer collection you can find so many kinds of beautiful stones, from white jade to aquamarine and a mixture

Spring Yellow

Written by Posted in Personal Style Comments 27

I’ve had the lovely opportunity to enter a competition hosted by Stylefruits.co.uk which is all about the spring inspired look. With the beautiful colour of this dress, I couldn’t help but think of it as the perfect dress for my ‘Pastel Me Pretty’ outfit entry. And of course, I wouldn’t have entered this competition if I didn’t REALLY want to win 😉 So please can all my lovely readers vote for me HERE, I would be forever grateful! They say yellow is a colour of happiness, you look at it and can’t help but feel a bit happier…well, it’s safe to
