It’s a good job that cropped tops & trousers are a big thing this summer, because I’m all over it. Even if you don’t have trousers already cropped, just rolling up the bottom of your jeans can completely change a look. I’m loving these trousers from Zara, with leather trims on the pockets & the pastel green is such a fresh colour. By pairing them with this white top, it keeps the outfit looking simple & feminine. To create an even chicer look, just add a sharp white blazer.
It’s been the most beautiful weekend, with bright blue skies & warm sunshine. So I spent my Sunday in the little village where I grew up, having a picnic with my sister and her fiancee…we obviously ended up in a pub garden afterwards though, how very British! I wanted to wear something feminine & delicate, but something that I wouldn’t be too hot and uncomfortable in…so that’s where this lace playsuit comes in. And I think it speaks for its pretty self.
I know it’s May now, and so all the bright colours should be coming out but I just can’t resist putting together a mono outfit. I love black, I love white and so what’s better than combining the two together? I just think it creates such a sharp chic look, and who can argue with that! On a little side note, I just want to say thank you to everyone who voted for me in the ‘Pastel Me Pretty’ competition on Stylefruits.com – I won the beautiful Marc Jacobs purse featured in this post & I couldn’t love it more! So
Today’s look is all about floral feelings in this pretty playsuit from soinfashion.com, it’s unbelievably comfortable & the floral pattern is just perfect for summer. I decided to pair it with my Chelsea boots & this oversized hat, my ideal kind of look for the festival season. If you’re not planning on going to any festivals this year, then this playsuit would be perfect for slipping into after a day of sunbathing at the beach.
